How the information on this site is researched, sourced, dated and maintained. This page exists so that readers, and the search and answer engines that surface our work, can judge its reliability.
This applies to the educational content across Perspectives and Resources, including the statistics pages. It does not change the terms of use or the legal notices, which govern separately.
We favour primary and named third-party sources: regulators and centres such as DIFC, ADGM and CIMA, and established research such as Deloitte, Knight Frank, UBS, Preqin, Bain, KPMG and BCG. Where providers use different definitions or methodologies, we say so, and we do not present one figure as if it were the only one.
We produce the writing ourselves and verify each figure against its source before publishing.
Every figure carries its source and the period it refers to. Statistics reflect the most recent data available at the time of writing and are reviewed periodically. A figure shown without a visible date should be treated as something to flag, not as a current guarantee.
If a figure or a statement is wrong, we correct it. To report an error, contact us through the contact page with the page and the specific point.
The content speaks in the voice of the firm rather than named individuals. Credibility rests on the method, the named sources, the dating and the disclaimers, not on personal bylines.
